Serdar Donmez
In 1980 Serdar joined the family business, Yapi Donmez, started by his father. After learning the trade he spotted a gap in the market for top quality bespoke kitchens and founded the d·wood brand in 1985. Over the last 39 years he has built d·wood into an international brand which now custom makes kitchens, cupboards and furniture. He has also held positions as President of the Turkish Construction Building Materials Federation and President of the Turkish Construction Association as well as board positions on the Turkish Tiles Federation and the Bursa UNESCO Cultural Heritage Sites Protection.

Sener Donmez
Sener joined the family business, Yapi Donmez, started by his father, after completing college. With over 35 years of experience Sener has worked to build the business into one of the largest distributors of Kale products in Türkiye.
International Managing Director
Gizem Donmez
Gizem completed a double major in Industrial Engineering and Management at Koc University in Istanbul. Following this she graduated with a MPhil in Industrial Systems, Manufacturing and Management from Cambridge University. She trained at a blue chip global FMCG company and subsequently held senior level positions including Commercial Director, Global Director and European E-commerce Director. Having spotted a gap the market for great quality luxury kitchens in the UK and Internationally she rolled up her sleaves and took on the role as International Managing Director to scale up the business internationally.

Simon Ogilvie-Harris
Simon started his career at Goldman Sachs in London but his entrepreneurial flare led him to build a multi channel retail jewellery brand. More recently he has been Managing Director for the UK & Ireland for global manufacturing group, Headwear Stockist and the Operating Partner for a Private Equity backed e-commerce holding company. Simon has over 15 years of experience in product development, import & export, manufacturing and operating SME’s.

Sertug Donmez
Sertug has over 10 years experience in designing and pricing projects. He joined the family business after University and hasn’t looked back since. Sertug works on all types of projects whether they are luxury kitchens for private homes, wardrobes and furniture for large scale hotel projects or cosy kitchens for HMO’s.
